Lag spikes when gaming

Flaneln

I have a brand new computer and i get 60  + fps in many games but every now and then i feel a lag spike for second or less . If i lock my fps to 60 (even if i have 100+ fps on a game avg) every now and then i suddenly get 57 56 fps for a second or less which feels like a lag spike . My cpu and gpu temperatures are really low . They dont go over 55c . Any help?

Are you using a HDD? I had the problem before with a slow HDD.
