How many NVIDIA Drivers do I really need?

So I don't need PhysX and GeForce Experince? I thought PhysX creats those coll effects.

Geforce Experience is the application supplied with drivers, that offers streaming/screen recording, game configuration and some other stuff. PhysX is the tool, that allows GPU to be used for certain physics calculations, but it is only used if the game uses PhysX.

All these together form the Nvidia driver. Removing the individual components can cause problems. They don't take up any significant resources so for the sake of less troubles, just leave them.

Hi, I have been wondering which one of the 4 drivers do I really need, when I installed my NVIDIA Driver. And my latest driver, currently is 390.65.

In the "Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features" in the control panel, there are four specific NVIDIA drivers. They are:

- "NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver 390.65"
-"NVIDIA Graphics Driver 390.65"

-"NVIDIA GeForce Experice 3.12.0.84"

-"NVIDIA PhysX System Software 9.17.0524"

I'm guessing that I won't need the GeForce Experience. I'm not so sure, but how about the other three, do I need them? Thanks!

All of those are basically the Nvidia driver if combined. The Graphics driver does the heavy lifting though the others are just addons to the driver but are necessary .

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

Geforce Experience can be left out, so does 3D Vision if there isn't suitable screen or other equipment for it. I have selected to not install those for years now. Only thing GE has for it is ShadowPlay.
