Fix localhost issue when trying to setup website on network pc

Been trying to re set up my website after losing it a while ago and I have the website ready to set up but I would rather not do it on a single small screen in another room. I can connect to the website using the local ip but every time I try to do anything it reverts to local host and then stops working. So if I go to login it reverts from 192.168.... to localhost/...    So i can view it from the other pc but cannot edit it. Is this a setting or what can I do to be able to edit the site from a different pc without having to have it live to the world
