Downgrade JBL charge 3

Heya,

So I bought myself a JBL Charge 3 and it's pretty sweet, but I upgraded it and now I want to connect to a Xtreme, which uses the older Connect, not Connect+. Is there any way to downgrade my charge?

P.S. Someone else with a Charge, could you test the song trndsttr, is there  noticeable distortion/modulation with 60%+ volume at the start? On mine there is noticeable modulation when there's deep bass and vocals and not only on this song

Hello, I have a similar problem and I can not match my charge 3 with a jbl xtreme. Is it possible to make firmware downgrade in charge 3 with connect + and back to previous connect? slds, Pablo

Hey guys! If you still looking for the solution - check this russian forum using google translate. 

 

There you will find unofficial flashing application and firmware dump for latest connect (not plus, 5.4) firmware. Good luck, from Russia and with love.

there is this github archive of JBL firmwares, you will need a hardware flasher to downgrade tho

because lfm of permanently disable for 2.6.0.

Ma jbl xtreme 2 has firmware 2.6.0

Have you found any way to downgrade??
