could also use the "report an issue" feature in the help sub-menu right under the settings link. you might just be able to get a Google employee to push out a software update. But real quick, do me a favor and put this chrome://version/

in the address bar, and copy paste what you see, because I'm about to do the same. This may tell you if chrome simply needs to be updated

Make sure your the name of the account you are logged into for windows is not there in any of the system paths for the files, I just entered "me" just to be safe

The same happens in firefox if you are zoomed out, zooming in may give you the desired result you're wanting.

Edit: Also the ad is going to be present if you don't block them (E.g. uBlock origin, etc)

I don't see a problem here... Google search is left aligned by design, so on my 2560x1440p monitor, this is what it looks like for me at normal zoom levels:

If adjusting the zoom level doesnt help, you can try changing and rolling back your screen resolution, or even changing the font size in the chrome settings may do the trick.

OR, do you happen to have a backup of your user data from before you upgraded windows? If you could import that (using USMT in the admin's console) to your current version of windows, I may be wrong but it should load your user profile, data, files, and any settings that would be applicable on your upgraded OS and applications

Feels like my Chrome/Google Search is outdated and the UI is just bleh, no thumbnails and whenever I click any pictures on Image category it will redirect me to the site instead of showing me the bigger picture.
