Finding out exactly what Vcore you need for every clock is a great thing. I have a list of my bios settings for everything up to 51. Hoping to extend that list soon.

I don't think you should use AS5. You want the best thermal compound there is.

That stuff looks awesome.

I'm in the UK, so I'll have to find somewhere that does it here.

I'll order some tomorrow probably... should I use the same stuff between the H100i block and heat spreader?

It's £10 over here in the UK.

Noo just use your AS5 between the IHS and H100. It requires sanding to remove and such, it is liquid metal after all.

It's normally easier to get over there, being made in Germany :d

Just please, please, please do your research before you go at it with a blade. There's a whole thread at OCN full of experienced delidders ready to drop the conversation they're having to help.

Ok, thank you very much. Trust me I'm not gonna rush into cutting up my £180 chip I bought a week ago :-P

I will do a lot of research before I get stuck in.

EDIT: Watching this video:

I'm tempted to use the hammer method. It seems less likely to damage the chip and pcb. It's only glue holding the heat spreader on after all
