RX 560 does it have the same mounting as the 7870?

Billy_Mays

Im trying to find a cheap way to cool my RX 560, yes I know its not too worth it, but with the current GPU prices Id rather keep my money and have a water cooled GPU, so does the RX 560 have the same mounting spacing as the 7870?

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

My Build: Xeon 2630L V, RX 560 2gb, 8gb ddr4 1866, EVGA 450BV

My Laptop #1: i3-5020U, 8gb of DDR3, Intel HD 5500

Unless you just have a universal block, which would probably work, then you're out of luck since it has completely different layouts for the VRM, memory, etc.

You cant slap a full block on any other card, best case you dont cool vrms and vram and worst case you short out and destroy the gpu.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Not if theres a chunk of copper hovering over them.

I know you want water cooled... but really its not worth it for a 560 I have 960s cooled by air and they run just fine and half the times the fans dont run because it isnt hot enough

Can you measure the spacing on your gpu?

My RX 560 runs hot, 45c when the fans are at 2200rpm, its at 40% full speed

The block you are looking at uses 54×54mm spacing

That's not hot. You know they can run to about 95 C with ease, right?

its idle

What’s the spacing for?

There’s a 150mm spacing between the holes and the VRMs

Set a custom fan curve to lower fan speeds, and/or replace thermal paste. No one's asked, but what RX 560 do you have?

It's the mounting holes I was asking about.  The 4 holes around the core.

It is 54mm between the holes, in the middle of each hole

In that case it should mount.  It's worth a shot, make sure you have connection between the GPU VRAM and the block.
