Hey, I recently started getting into Metal and, so far I really like what I've heard so, I wanted to ask someone who knows more about the genre for some recommendations.

 

So far I looked around Spotify and, I've been enjoying some songs on a playlist called Trash Metal.

I haven't listened to the full album yet but, out of these, I liked the first the most and, Sodom - Christ passion wasn't bad either.

The others I didn't really get.

I like black metal, but spotify is pretty limited when it comes to black metal imo. I do have some playlists though, feel free to check them out.

I heard some songs from Amon Amarth and, they were pretty good.

I only heard some so I don't know if that's what they are about but, they kinda sounded like Viking or battle music though, I don't know if that's a thing.

Self proclaimed Metal lover here however i'm on the less extreme metal side shall we say

I don't experiment enough with metal to have much to offer as suggestions, but metal I do enjoy for the most part include Metallica, Iced Earth, and my favorite is probably In Flames.

This is probably the heaviest and most intense song I've ever heard.
