What cooler for I7-8700k?

Looking for something that is a neutral colour (black, grey) but not that important. Not too crazy price wise. I know that Be Quiet has good coolers, what else?

Are you overclocking, budget, do you want to watercool, what case and motherboard are you using. That would be nice if you specifed all of this

I would say that you will need, especially if overclocking, something better than a Hyper 212 EVO. The new Dark Rock Pro 4 or a higher end Noctua would be my recommendation.

As its really hot chip, I'd say go for 140mm tower at minimum. D15 with Chromax is best atm, Dark Rock 3 Pro with bad mounting comes in second. Also H5 and R1 from Cryorig and Fuma from Scythe.

How about reading question before posting? Budget cooler for one of hottest chips in market isn't good suggestion.

Thanks for your post, I wasn't thinking budget, just not premium high-quality stuff, I didn't make that clear.

Not your fault. There are just some people who don't read properly. Suggesting budget cooler for high end CPUs is just stupid. Unless its already specified that budget is wanted.

What ram and case are you using?

UK, Looking on the internet/Amazon, not sure about budget just yet, maybe around £60.

Don't know what ram yet but probably the Corsair Vengeance (16GB) and the case is an NZXT S340 Elite.
