Is My Build Quiet?

Recommended Posts

If you're looking for quiet fans, there are better options available including:

NF-P14S: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/8r9KHx/noctua-case-fan-nfp14sredux1500pwm

SW3: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/x9cMnQ/be-quiet-bl065-595-cfm-140mm-fan-bl065

NF-A14: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/dwR48d/noctua-case-fan-nfa14pwm

What cpu cooler are you using? The system is only as quiet as the loudest component and there are cheaper fans available if you're just going with the stock cooler.

A good alternative would be Vortex's: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/j6JwrH/cougar-case-fan-cfv14h

Why are you getting the MasterCase Pro 6 in particular? It isn't a well ventilated case and your fans would need to run faster for the same amount of cooling and result in more noise.

Your hdd would likely be the noisiest component at idle and a Green or Red would be quieter.

Hey guys! My name is Patrick! Anyway lets skip the introduction. I am a brand new PC Builder and I have been planing my build for about a year now. So I guess I am not BRAND new lol. And I love the look of my build but I am not sure if it will be quiet. I am 99% sure it will perform for what I need to to (run most triple A games at 1080p 100fps and 1080p 60fps while filming and/or streaming on OBS Studios. please confirm that for me. ANYWAYS to my main question. Will this build be cool and most importantly quiet. I heard from someone that my case has bad airflow or something and I want the majoritys opinion. And if so how do I find a quiet case. how do I know if its quiet?

EDIT: I want my build next to me on my desk. and I will have a mic and I dont want it to pick up pc noice. also will it be loud when not underload like when I am on youtube or searching the web and stuff like that or only when its underload.

Bequiet's cases with sound dampening are quiet, also in my experience corsair fans tend to be noisy, but i havent used the ml-140 fans, but for the same price you could also get noctua fans.

Whether something is too noisy or not varies depending on the person.

All cases are inherently silent since they don't make any noise. If you want a quiet system, don't use loud components.

If you want some case recommendations, it would help to know what you're looking for in a case. It's why I asked what cooler you'd be using and why you were looking at the MasterCase Pro 6 in particular.

Unless you leave the mic right next to the tower, that won't be an issue.

It's not going to be loud.
