Scrubbing Hard drives and fixing bad sectors.

I have a ubuntu server set up and I have my Webmin reporting a hard drive with errors (My ups failed during a transfer and brownout) I want to scrub the drive and fix the sectors will that errors go away? Please help I am currently scrubbing now.
