MP4 on a DVD

Go to solution Solved by NelizMastr,

DVDs support playback of 480p (NTSC) and 576i (PAL) so convert to one of those formats applicable to your region and burn using proper tools that'll actually make the thing playable in a DVD player.

Will a 1.8GB 1080p mp4 video file fit on a 4.7GB DVD in MPEG-2?

Also, what about a 1.2GB 720p mp4? I think the max for mpeg-2 is 576p or something. Correct me if im wrong.

Asking because i dont know how mpeg-2 files work in file size. I just know when i rip a dvd its uncompressed.
