Help with my setup.

BoopityDoop

So currently i'm using 3 corsair Air Series AF120's, I've got one on top for exhaust, another in the back for exhaust and one in the front for intake and am using the NH-L9i from Noctua for CPU duties (40c idle, 60c under load), GPU however get's pretty hot (70+c). The case i'm using is as follows: "Thermaltake Versa H15", i cheated out here in favour of the rest of the components.

I had a i5-7600k which was overclocked, however will be moving to a newer platform (z370) & CPU (i5-8600k) just for the extra horses in CPU heavy workloads, what sort of CPU cooler should i be looking at to tame this beast & is my current config (CPU cooler aside) fine?

welcome to the Linus Tech Tips forums!

take your exhaust fan in the roof and put it in front as an intake. more air in is better than more air out. the case can naturally exhaust through the roof and rear i/o.

If you want to over lock the 8600k anywhere near 5ghz you will need a better cooler, I have an 8700k (very similar overclocking) and I am limited to 5ghz on my cryorig h7 due to thermals. I would personally recommend something along the lines of a noctua d15 or a be quiet dark rock pro 3; or a 240/280 aio if you’re into that.

Also move the top fan to the front so you don’t have negative pressure

That cooler is pretty small and your case is pretty big.  If you want to stay Noctua then go with something like the NH-U14S.  That will take anything the  8600K can dish out.

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

GPU temps aren't that hot. I would recommend getting 140mm tower for new CPU. 120mm will do too, but won't be that big of upgrade.

England, specifically Leeds. As for where i'm shopping: https://m.cclonline.com/ (local retailer, cheaper prices than everywhere else). Budget is around £120, and i have a Palit GTX 1060 Dual 6GB.

Edit: fuck me formatting is cancer on Mobile

Your graphics card temps are fine.

An H5 Ultimate or NH-D15 would work well.
