Who else has recently been hit with the stupid amount of snow

It's too cold here to snow.

I have some snow, but not much as of late. Mostly just low temperature and extremely cold wind chill.

Then it's the same as my area. Earlier it was -14 and my hands were freezing. Can't imagine -20.

What is it like in your area? I was trying to put air in my tires earlier, but had to do it without gloves, and my hands were freezing. We had a windchill warning that frostbite could set in within 30 minutes....I should probably at least try getting thin insulating gloves to shield my hands from the wind.

Right now it's actually not bad, -7 I think. Next week we drop back into the -20's.

Last week it was -44 with the windchill. Frostbite starts within 2 - 3 minutes of bare exposure.

Sucks because I'm in construction, so when we first get to a house there's no heat, and we usually have to survive with a couple 220v heaters as the only source.

Haha, I wouldn't. That's why I'm glad we're sub contractors

I got offered a job cleaning windows. Good money, but I'm terrified of heights, so that's a no go.

Just need to have the proper gear! Most places that get snow actually aren't that cold
