New Phone?!?

I was looking at what my next phone I want to get (have an Iphone now). My phone is starting to act up so I want to start looking now. I was looking at the OnePlus5T and I really like it but I was wondering if I should wait for the OnePlus6. I was also considering the Razer phone what were your guys thoughts.

Which iPhone do you have exactly? Is it really old or is it like, a 6 or 7 ?
You could probably just bring it to an Apple store to have it "fixed" by a "genius" and it will cost you less than a new phone or send it in for actual repairs if need be, possibly could just be the battery that's dying and Apple is throttling your phone's performances to "keep up the charge longer", which you can have replaced for $25 for the next year.

Especially if it's still under warranty.

You could wait but I wouldn't do it. It depends on how badly you need a new phone. The 5T is an amazing phone where the razer phone is more a gimmick in my opinion.

There's a section for this. It's not the General section. You should really look before posting.

Welcome to the forum.

The OP6 is a long way off. So if you need something sooner than later, it's out of the picture.

How so? The high refresh panel has legitimate usage improvements.

Welcome to the forum.

Please just report it to the mod team and we'll take care of it. Backseat moderating is against the Community Standards. :)

Thread moved to Phones and Tablets section.

Yes, heaven forbid should we point out peoples mistakes in hopes they don't make them again.

I disagree because if people are not informed of their mistakes and they dont realize then they might make the same mistake again

As I said to dizmo, if you want to discuss this please send me a PM about it.

As it stands right now, it's a rule of the forum. If a user does something wrong we want users to report it to us and we'll take care of it; the mod team will not unilaterally punish people for making a mistake, and most of the time we'll simply inform the user of why we took action and explain the importance and relevance of the subsections of the forum.

Please don't post more responses about this in here. The OP is looking for help choosing a new phone, not for a discussion about backseat moderation.
