I use to be really anti-rgb, but pretty much every case with decent cooling has a side panel now. It’s grown on me, as long as its not rainbow puke. You can make the RGB pretty unobtrusive when you want to.

I never cared about pretty lights, my computer is like a Soviet car, ugly as crap and missing some nice-to-haves, but perfectly handles almost everything I throw at it.

My PC is in my bedroom. Leaving it on at night and having a lightshow isn't something I want.

I know that many RGB controllers can be set to be shutdown.. but then that's an extra step I'd have to take over none at all for not having any LED.

Not to mention, I'm easily distracted, having lights in my peripheral vision is distracting to me and I'd always end up looking at it thinking something moved. (The fact that I have a floater in my right eye that's visible on bright lights really doesn't help either on that side of things, I always see "something moving" when there's nothing)

 

With all that said, I have nothing against "RGB" itself, where it makes sense. Like as a keyboard backlight.
When you're getting an RGB chair to go with an RGB desk along an RGB monitor.... Wtf is wrong with you?

I initially planned and build my pc in red at no extra cost

even rma and got a rgb mobo, i just use red.

asus b350 plus >B50F / corsair red led ram/ msi gaming x/ cm 212 red led

(imagine yourself, I wont post a pic)

 

the ram is the only part I think led is needed to show it is working.

I don't like lights in general. I don't want shit shining in my face as I try to play games or do shit. Graphic card is RGB because everything is these days, but it's hidden inside an all black case. For which I had to paint POWER and HDD LED on the front coz it made my whole room a disco floor at night...

i wouldnt pay anything for RGB, if a product happens to have it il probably turn off that godawful unicorn vomit. the only rgb thing i have atm is my mouse which is just set to red which i dont even see because its covered by my hand at all times its on. RGB pretty much always has awful yellows so there is no place for it in my life atm

RGB is one of those things were in small amounts, it can make things look sharp, but can be easily overdone. My standard for where that overdone line is varies. Sometimes I'll have all of the pretty colors, sometimes I turn off everything except the case LEDs and leave those plain white.

 

The constantly rotating bright colors, though, just give me a headache.
