balanced vs max performance?

what should i chose for my gaming system? balanced or power options i felt when i put my pc on high performance my game are smooth and better. is there any real difference or my brain is going crazy.

Honestly, with a high end system, you shouldn't be feeling a huge difference. It just makes your CPU run without idling as much--like it runs at a higher clock speed even if it's not doing anything. I would go with high performance, because why not..? :P

Main difference is the amount of power they use. Balanced is light while max is high consumption. Unless you live in area where electricity is super expensive or hard to get, just go with max. The difference is bigger on laptops when max drains battery much faster.
