How to take a screen shot on Android 6.0?

Guest

Normally on Android it's power button + volume down.

How do you take a screenshot on Android 6.0? I have an LG K4 for reference. I have tried holding down power and home button, power and volume rockers simultaneously, those methods don't work either.

I tried this method and it worked, thanks for your help ;) Is there a specific android version that has this method of taking screen shots, are there different methods for taking screen shots on different versions of android?

As far as I know, it's quite standard. Has worked like this on the about 5 different brands and versions of Android I have used.

Some manufacturers like to add another way of making screenshots though, I remember the Samsung 10.1" a relative of mine had made screenshots with a hotbutton that was, I believe, on the 'taskbar' of the phone (the place where the digital home button would be).

And I know Apple mobile devices use home button + I believe volume down.

It's not android 6 but on my phone I have a setting to enable a gesture; 3 finger swipe down on the screen takes a screenshot, it's quite nice.

With Sony Xperia phones, if you hold the power button it shows you the shutdown menu, and the options to take a screenshot or capture video.

Mystery is the source of all true science.
