Yes, they are new:

Core18 is an improved version of Core17 that uses that latest and greatest features from OpenMM. This core is available only for Win32.

These are Core18 projects for Win32 NVIDIA only. The projects are similar to projects 10466-10469, but using core18.

Finally back into folding again, I wanted to wait till I could get this Intel system running proper. Three SSD raid 0 sure is fast, not that it will help with folding though.

So im only getting 42k PPD on my GTX 970 running @ 1550Mhz core. Ummmm any ideas? My 4790k is getting 22k PPD. Something is wrong here.

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

What core is your gpu folding right now and also have you seen any benchmarks of how many ppd a 970 gets?

Nothing wrong, you just have a "hard" WU. It happens... Sometimes you get good ones, sometimes some bad ones.

If anyone is interested in the 970 GTX performance while folding I have two in SLI right now pulling 509K PPD. SO it seems that one is equal to the 290x (I pull 250K or more PPD with my 290X Lightning). My 970's are the Gigabyte G1 and the cards are OC'd 1472 core and 1903 Memory with temps at 63C for the top card and 57C bottom card. If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer them the best I can. Thanks!

sweet, thanks for the information, i ordered a msi variant of the gtx 970 yesterday, will hopefully have it up and running on tuesday. If i can get it to work with my sapphire 7950 gpu, seems like it's a very solid performer indeed. i wonder if you will start failing wu's with that oc on the tougher/slower units though.

I was folding all night on a tough one that was giving me 150k PPD and it got through that one so I think it'll be OK. I really put each card through the paces on gaming and benching. Crysis 3 is the game I like to run my oc setting on because it will crash pretty quick if then overclock is to high. 3dmark vantage is another good one. If I run into issues I'll let you guys know. I did up my core 1506 on one card and 1524 on the other so I'll check when I get home if it crashed. These cards are amazing though. Very happy I upgraded.

i5 3350p

evga 780SC

20GB XMS3

evga super nova 750 watt

thought this might not only be for a good cause but a great way to see the temps i can make to ajust my cooling, kind of like an awesome benchmark lol

I pushed my clocks to 1506 core on gpu1 and 1524 core on gpu2 and my PPD are at 516k-521k PPD for the past 6 hours or so. Pretty awesome! 521K PPD is the highest I have seen so far.

Welcome, and not yet. Even though they support OpenCL, the folding client looks for AMD/NVidia GPU's.
