Is this on a cpu or gpu? try setting the

cpu threads to an even number.

it looks like it is using GPU and not CPU what it currently looks like

What os is that? looks like a pretty dated client.

it's strange that it hasn't even connected to a

work server. So you can't go here and see if

its not empty and currently accepting

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/pybeta/serverstat.html

Could you make a new thread and post the

log for the cpu slot?

There should be, but if you didn't get it,

just go into the advanced client and click

"configure" in the top left corner, then

enter the team number "223518". Don't

forget to grab a passkey.

I can't get a passkey. I've already gave them my e-mail but I still haven't gotten a response.

Check your trash/spam folder, it also

takes a number of minutes for it to

arrive. If you really didn't receive

anything i would try again later.

Depends on what project or projects you want to support.  F@H is aimed more toward cancer research.  BOINC projects vary, some are on mathematics, others on astronomy, cancer research, and disease research.

Also, note on the new Nvidia drivers.  The new one that just got release is still having issues.  Just heard from a folder on another forum board who just tried them out.

Can confirm. FAH has been throwing away 3 or 4 work units before actually starting to fold.

You need that for bonus points. After you have complete 10 Work Units on the CPU slot, you will then get extra PPD point.

I just started Folding@Home and was curious about joining a group after my first work unit!  And when i was searching trough the page i found you guys in the txt file!!!

It's good to see people from this community have been helping the cause for a long time now, even from before the "dollar shave club" ads (i think) and now that, was a while ago.

Those diseases are complete bs, let's f them up! bit by bit.

I might have killed my PC while letting it run this so... I'll be back, someday...Probably not in the near future :(
Im back

I am one with the Fold, The Fold is with me. :D

Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.

Welcome to the Team.

I am about to retire, as soon as I hit 100M points (97.6M as I write this).  I dropped back from dual GPU (non SLI) folding, as my system had a big fart ..and I was concerned about seeing smoke from my TitanX again lol ...well not really as I hadn't over volted this time.  But running 2 cards (non SLI) certainly made the TitanX run warmer (Stock air) ...I was averaging 1.2M PPD ..but seeing as I only have 2 or 3 Mil to go to get the gold badge, Even running only one card it won't take me long.  Under a week I'm guessing.

/me whispers "Perhaps I would continue if a Platinum badge was added :D  500M ?"

I didn't know SLI was slower, thank you I'll try that off for now.

Hello everyone,

Joined the project a couple of weeks ago with a 7600K and a RX 480 on 24/7 on medium, a mbp i7 5557U during the nights on low/medium and sometimes an i3 540 with a GTX 650 on high when I can deal with the noise.

Reaching the 3M soon so I thought I should introduce myself.
