Also... utilities expand their bandwidth all the time. Electrical grid, gas, water... that's one of the reasons we're all stuck in traffic every morning. The demand does increase as cities' populations increase. It's exactly the same as the internet.

Jesus just listening to Ajit speak is painful. I'm pretty sure he's just making up facts or cherry picking facts for these companies he's listing.

Lol everyone getting kicked out of the office now.

Of course he is, i mean he talks about quotes that come from 20-ish isp's. How does that work?

There's no way 20 isp's said the exact same thing. Whatever he's doing that's not how quotes work!

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

People often ask, "When do we start shooting?"

...it's getting closer and closer y'all. Every time you ignore the will of the people, you are becoming one step closer to anarchy.

“On advice of security, we need to take a brief recess,” Chairman Ajit Pai said after he was handed a note.

Off-camera, we could hear someone saying, "I need everyone to leave everything that you have in place. Do not take anything out of here except for your body."

I agree with Ajit here and here's why:

Before the internet was classified under title II, CenturyLink was heavily investing and advertising in fiber optic for the Minneapolis/St. Paul MSA. Now they don't really advertise it and don't seem to be growing it.

But if we revoke Title 2, they may have "fiber connections" but you'll still get throttled w/o paying a much higher premium.

See.  If there is a bomb threat, just for that on top of repealing net neutrality, they should just add an internet tax for good measure.

But they never throttled to begin with. Why the hell would they start?

How do you know this wasn't because as soon as ISPs were classified as Title II, they stopped out of spite?

because they can, and absolutely no one can stop them. Not the FCC, not the FTC, not POTUS, not Congress.

Why WOULDN'T you put less strain on your network if you could?
