LG LED IPS234 blinks for 20min until it turns on

LeBossPT
Monitor: LG LED IPS234 23'' with about 5-6 years of heavy use. 5000-10000 hours turned on.

Monitor blinks for around 20min "warming up" every 3 seconds from all dark to showing the input image with perfect quality for 0.5sec.

After this the monitor works with perfect quality without blinking.

I've tried using different inputs, DVI, VGA and HDMI, all reproduce the same results.

If I turn off the monitor after it has been on without blinking for a while it will turn on just fine instately. This makes me believe its some kind of hardware needing to "heat" problem.

If I let the monitor off for 45min+ it be the same as a cold start.

The lowest my room goes in the winter is 15ºC~59ºF so we aren't talking of extreme temperatures.

Humidity may be an issue.

Any ideas guys? I would hate to have to replace a perfectely fine monitor but I've been with this issue for a few months now.

It's not a graphics card issue, I'm running triple monitor setup. I've reseted monitor inboard software to defaults.

Thanks in advance!
