Graphics card recommendaion

I'm creating my first pc build and I currently have a Ryzen 5 1600 CPU with 8GB RAM. The main games I play are rainbow six siege, overwatch and I just got witcher 3. My max budget is 200 dollars for a graphics card but I REALLY REALLY want it under 150 (preferably closer to 100). So what card would you recommend? This is my build right now https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X9ybFd. Also off topic but for the wireless network adapter is b/g/n ok?

The best card you could get at that price range new is a 1050Ti unless you waited for sales and got a 1060 3gb.

If you shop around craigslist or ebay, you can get a better card for about that much. (I believe the going price for used 780s is ~200, last I checked)

There will definitely be Christmas sales, but even on Black Friday the 1060 didn't drop by a whole lot. Older cards are still worth looking into, the 780 is better than/equal to the 1050Ti/1060 3Gb in a lot of cases. The only real drawback is higher power usage, worse efficiency, and older architecture

Are there any AMD cards worth looking into? Not really informed on this area

So the budget for your PC is $700 with a display?

The minimum motherboard you want is the ASrock Pro 4 B350 board

Might just suggest an R3 1200 as it will be mostly fine for 60hz gaming, use the money saved towards your GPU.

LG has a 1080p 75HZ IPS free-sync display, dunno if it's still cheap.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I personally prefer Nvidia to AMD, but used RX 470s, 480s, 570s, and 580s wouldn't be that bad.

Because it's the minimum motherboard you want, with it's "6" + 3 phase VRM and heatsinks on the VRM, and it's B350 for overclocking

A nice used 970 would clobber all those games in 1080p too.

Won't that cost a lot more though?

Not really. If it was used as a mining card it'll be really cheap.

Nah, used 970s go for under 200.  They are about as good as a 10603gb, just use more power.

Don't forget the extra gigabyte of VRAM(unless that's disabled on all cards, I forget).

Then get the better display and wireless adapter, an R3 1200 should be fine for the most part

GPU pricing and RAM pricing is so bad right now, RX 570s aren't back to $200 anymore

Thank you!! Also, if I plan on using this for not only gaming but general use (programming, normal use, maybe some blender etc...) would a ryzen 5 1600 be a better choice? Also, what makes the new monitor better?

That's also an option, but it would mean a weaker GPU most likely, Raven Ridge APUs should be coming soon and give you what's basically an R5 1400 + RX 550(hopefully) at $200 or less for the package.

I'd maybe wait on the higher end CPU, but it's tough not knowning when the Ryzen Refresh is coming.

For example in say 2-3 months the R5 2600 may be out and hitting 4.5ghz instead of being stuck at 4ghz.

Nividia GTX 970 G1 is that a good graphics card to get? For cheaper than a 1050ti
