Display port to Hdmi

I'm looking into getting a new monitor, my gpu only has 1xhdmi and 2x display port connections and I'm using the only hdmi on my current monitor, I was wondering would a display port to hdmi adapter have a noticeable effect on gameplay?

No, it doesn't have any visual impact.

What about input lag or audio quality they stay true as well?
