New Monitor

I need a new monitor to replace my old S24C300 (1280x720@60Hz) monitor.

My GPU is a GeForce 1070 and my cpu i7 7700k

I want it to be ultrawide and be good to game on 

(gsync?)

 

My budget is 537$

I would recommend getting GSYNC enabled for gaming.  I don't have an ultrawide but I use the ASUS P279Q 16:10 144hz and its beautiful, amazing!

 

The ROG SWIFT PG348Q would have been my 2nd choice.

 

These are high end options not sure what your budget it.

stay away from g-sync at that budget because you will only be left with a model that sacrifices the panel for the chip. 

Try looking at LG's for their budget ultradwide lineup if you want a decent monitor, otherwise try Dell and see if they have something on sale.

 

I personally stay away from Asus and Acer because i really hate their gaudy gamery aesthetics.
