What's your present for your parents this year?

Nicnac

This may or may not be ideal for you, but I was planning to pay their mortgage for the month. I'm living with them for free and I fairly well paid from my job so I don't mind paying it.

Nothing.

My parents would probably find it incredibly weird if we began giving each other presents after 29 years.

But wouldn't you know your parents' gift wishes the best? And if you don't know then ask them.

Self-stirring coffee mugs. Changed my life forever now they can change my parents.

 I'm sorry for you.

It's really hard to think of something every year .. I asked them multiple times but they don't really know or want anything themselves. My sister has no idea either what to give them.

Thing is my studies have been really all I did this year and I haven't even been to any special places or such which is normally where I would get my presents for the family...

There's no need to feel sorry.

Christmas is just not a tradition I grew up with. Just like birthdays. You can't really miss what you've never really experienced.

My family moved around a lot so we couldn't really own a lot of stuff, since it's expensive to move stuff around the world and back

Although, now having a family of my own has kinda forced me into accepting Christmas as a part of my life.

Isn't that the kinda situation where you default into semi-useless gadgets?

Like, buy your dad (or mom for that matter) a small drone, buy them some quality cutlery or maybe some professional pictures of you and your sister.

Those are some really good ideas. But yea, that point where you basically buy useless stuff is really annoying me so I'm trying to find at least something halfway meaningful.
