What parts has he bought? And what use it is for?

seems pretty great TBH.

motherboard is a bit overpriced IMO, but nothing inherently wrong.

There is value in sexy, pricy motherboards, and if he likes RGB and flair, then maybe it's worth it, but IMO a $100 board is fine for utility, maybe a $150 for looks or $180-200 for really good looks.
