PC build

My friend got this PC build:

He also got this:

Because the s340 elite doesn't have 3.0 on it's side and I don't want it to have too much force on the motherboard

 

He's wondering once he gets his parts if he can get an NZXT Hue+ because aren't both USB 2.0 occupied by front io now and doesn't the kraken take up one slot and the motherboard only has 2? 

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'd love to hear some of your opinions

You can always get an internal extension instead of a converter to get extra ports...
