I5 4440s, H81M-A Asus motherboard and 8GB RAM

How much do you think? 250? I really want £300 because that would cover the cost of a new ryzen system but hey.

You can't build a full Zen system with $300...

80£ for that CPU. Maybe 40£ for the board and 35£ for the ram.

A Ryzen 1200 is significantly better than that i5 (especially when overclocked).

no i plan on updating the mobo ram and cpu
