I7 4790k Air cooler suggestions required

Shehroz Khan

Hi everyone, I'm going to be purchasing an air cooler for my 4790k and have ONLY these options available:
1) Cryorig M9i Mini

2) Cooler Master Hyper D92
3) Thermaltake Ring Silent 12

4) Cryorig H7

What cooler out of all these will give the best cooling performance? I will be delidding my cpu and plan to OC it to 4.4-4.5 GHz. I can't go for a liquid cooler as in my country, these are a little out of budget. Like I said, only these options are available and ANY type of help is appreciated. :)
Thank you for your time :)

I would persnally go with a H7. I would say it’s the best out of all your options

Would I be able to achieve a stable ~4.5 GHz overclock (after a delid)?

we can't say that right now. this highly depends on your particular chip. if you happen to have a good overclocker you probably could get 5Ghz on that cooler, but you also might not even get it to a stable 4.8.

Ah, well thank you. Hope my delid proves to be worth the time and money :3

Impossible to say for sure. But I think average for that CPU is 4.7GHz. I got friend who had that with 212 Evo easily.
