lcfz1986

Hi guys,

I planing to build small form factor gaming pc, at my country i found a casing "Silverstone RVZ03", but the big problems is air cooler make me headache. Because i heard some computer store sales man said "Intel i7 7700k is extremely hot.

So, i found an liquid cooler "Corsair Hydro Series™ H5 SF Low-Profile Liquid CPU Cooler". Is this really good for me? or anyone can give me some suggestion?

Thanks,

Appreciate.

I like the Noctua NH-C14S or Noctua NH-L12 for a lower profile build, the Corsiar H5 is kindof an weird hybrid

Yes

120x25mm fan support

The fan clips supplied with the NH-L12S work not only with the slim NF-A12x15 fan but also with 25mm thick 120mm fans. Users who have extra room inside their cases can thus boost the cooler’s performance by using a standard 120x25mm fan on top (increases total height to 95mm).

Definitely go with either a Noctua or a Dark Rock Pro.

Its not optimal for the CPU. But if you aren't going to OC and will set manual volts, plus aren't scared of it running hotter, then its fine.

But Noctua NH-L12 using single fan... will it be fine?

what's different in this 2 option "Noctua NH-L12" & "Noctua NH-L9i"?

because i research "Noctua NH-L9i" fan can reach 2500rpm but it's worse.

"Noctua NH-L12" fan only reach 1600rpm but it's better!?

Easy. L12 has more surface area. With air coolers size of radiator matters. This review http://minimalisticpc.com/blog/hardware/test-5-low-profile-coolers/ shows over 10C difference between just them.
