Normal Fan Noise?

Mercuryaces

Hey guys, built a new pc for myself, first time.

i get paranoid about my things... I felt like maybe my fans havnt been sounding like they should, so I recorded a short audio recording to get some feedback... are these normal fan noises? This recording was taken while gaming if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, both of those should be reasonably quiet, but the 1060 can be expected to spin up quite a bit. What case is it? That has a massive impact on noise

That's an F in the profile pic

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be anything really terrible in your PC that would cause noise. I think it's all normal, just cheapish fans.

But it’s not the case fans making the noise, it’s the stealth cooler. Still normal?

Yes. Its small fan. Small fans always make more noise. You can adjust speeds to make it quieter.

I’ve determined the annoying part about the noise is that it seems to be oscillating even at idle, revving up and down between higher/lower rpm’s. Do you know how I can change this?

In BIOS or by using mobos own software.
