Pc monitor is black and white

p1ng

So I'm having a problem with my monitor/PC atm..

I had just turned on my pc when the screen suddenly went black and white. I tried restarting the computer, but it didn't work. I then tried to connect the pc to another monitor, but that had the same problem. I have also tried reinstalling the drivers several times, with no result. Maybe you guys could give a helping hand?

Thanks in advance :)

Have you got a picture?

It could be your Graphics card... I had this same issue not so long ago..

Try and plug your hdmi/vga or whatever you use into the onboard graphics rather than your graphics card, if it works then your GPU has mostly likely broken :(

EDIT: When mine broke the fan still spun, so its not always something visable that shows its broken..

Case: Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic  CPUi7-7700k (4.8ghz) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 Case Fans: 5x ML120 RGB / 2x LL120  GPU: Aorus RTX 2080 Xtreme Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z270H RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 (3200mhz) Storage: 2x 1TB SG Barracuda, 128gb BiWin M.2 SSD PSU: Corsair RM650x OS: Windows 10

I just tried plugging the VGA into the motherboard but when I got into Windows there were still no colors...

Try this;

Left Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen

And how does the Left Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen affect this? what does it change?

This is what it does

Perhaps double check that your GPU is seated properly in place.
