I am looking to purchase a 1080ti, budget $799. Was interested in the Asus 1080ti the $749 & $799 ones but looks like there are out of stock and now this offer came up. Is this a good card compared to the 1569 MHz ones?

It boosts to 1582 itself, and if you have gpu boost enabled it'll go even higher than that, so it'll perform the same(within about 5% at most) of the other 1080ti's out there.

Did you mean GPU boost in MOBO, I ordered the Asus Maximus X with Wifi, I dont know if that has one.

No, GPU Boost(that im referring to) is a part of the nvidia control panel.

They all use the same gpu so they'll all be within about 5% of each other. The difference between the best and the worst performing 1080ti (not including founders edition) really isn't much, you wouldn't even notice the difference gaming on them.

From what I understand, EVGA doesn't bin their chips, so any FTW card that doesn't pass at the higher clock speeds used in their FTW edition has their speeds reduced to Nvidia stock and labeled with FTW DT.  You still get the higher end FTW cooler, but your speeds will be reduced.  With the better cooler, GPU Boost will take the card back up to a decent level, but you are probably talking around the SC level and not FTW level.

@RKRiley & @Gerr, ordered the EVGA Ftw DT. Considering the fact that EVGA has better customer service and price. And hope it puts up some good performance.
