Any Grunge fans here?

I've always said i'm a Punk person over Grunge, however looking into both i should like Grunge more as the topics are more what i can relate with however i can never seem to like the whiny singing of most bands like Nirvana i can't even sit through Smells like Teen Spirit without thinking "Eughh"

 

I've tried Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains and have only liked a couple of songs from each (in the case of Stone Temple Pilots it's only Interstate Love Song) where as every Punk band i've stumbled across i've happened to like really well especially Social Distortion

 

So can anyone recommend me so decent Grunge bands?

Well, there's Nirvana for once. For albums I would recommend Bleach and In Utero.
If you want to get a bit esoteric you could check out some early Melvins.

Mudhoney is defiantly worth a listen as well.

Well, Kurt's singing voice on other releases than Nevermind is quite different,
