Deleted Drive, how can I recover!

I recently bought a new hard drive and after having issues with it I got it to work, though in the proccses I accedently deleted the volume of a 1tb USB drive I had connected and now windows dosent detect it on any PC ive tried. Did this delete the stuff on it and if it did how can I get it back and make windows detetct it again?

Try using recuva

yeah, deleting the volume deletes everything contained in it, as said you can try recuva or any other data recovery program

Revive should work, but it might be worth investing into Seagate Recover tools, that way you've got it for future issues as well.

 

What kind of a dentist did you do?

Did you recreate a new volume after you deleted it?  If not, you can go into "Disk Management", right click on the drive, and select "New Simple Volume".  After that's done, it should be detected on WIndows.

Active partition recovery saved my life before but its not free.

Just dont do anything with the drive or if u attempt to recover the files dont recover it to the drive instead copy/set the file path to another drive or your deleted data will be overwritten making it harder to recover.

I only have that drive, nothing else though

Just to be clear.

Is this a external drive?

If so then wouldn't you be able to do what  Hiya! said. and copy the files to you internal drive for your PC.

Also how much of the drive was being used. ???/1000GB

As Hiya! said if you attempt to recover it yourself at the very least make sure not to save the recovered files in the same drive as the one your wanting to recover. This will make it a lot more difficult to recover and sometimes even lose a lot of data. In the case of you overwriting the data, even a recovery specialist might not be able to recover a huge portion of your data.

Of course as long as your careful you should be able to recover most of your data.

 

Also could you explain the process of how you deleted the drive?

e.g.As in did you right click then click format then start or did you select all then press del key then yes.
