Technical Colleges in Canada with co-op program in Networking?

Recommended Posts

Hey there, I think I have decided to come to Canada to study, really tired of my home.

I'm interested in changing my career route to the Networking, so I'm looking at Network Technician programs across Canada, and weighing out my options. I've found lots of great options, but I am having trouble finding a Network Technician program which has a Co-op program to get some job experience firsthand during my studies.

Does anyone have any suggestions for Colleges or personal experience relating to this situation?

BTW I have Canadian citizenship, so there shouldn't be an eligibility problem with the co-op programs.

Most offer something, ultimately depends on where you'd like to live/go to school. UOIT has internships/co-op for Networking and Information Technology Security (BaIT) as far as I remember. I know a couple people who have gone there in the past.

What part of the country do you want to live in? That will really help narrow it down.

I'd check BCIT. I imagine they have something along those lines. NAIT or SAIT are other choices.
