are these Safe Temps for Ryzen 5 1600?

Overclocked to 3.6 GHZ (my first OC)

temps:53 degrees, after 5-6 mins of aida64

 

are these temps safe? as I only ran aida64 for 5 mins?

also is the cpu voltage okay? min: 1.194v max:1.213v

53 is definitely safe.

My i7 is at 50°C in idle, lol.

Test with CPU/FPU/Cache checked. I generally recommend below 80c Package Temperature. Stability verification should last at least 1 to 2 hours, minimum.

CPU alone won't generate any heat and is useless for stability verification. You gotta check the first three boxes.

oh, didnt mention that i also ran prime95 with the same sort of results

also i just noticed when loading euro truck sim 2 thats there some buzzing noise coming from the pc

never noticed that before.

could it be the oc?

Overclocking a processor isn't going to cause it to make noise. Your CPU fan may spin faster though.

 

Edit: After looking again at your screenshot, your CPU fan's already spinning appropriately fast. I think maximum for stock Wraith Spire is ~2500 rpm.

I've always had earphones plugged in when playing ET2 don't know why it's making that noise

After 5 mins at stock 3.2ghz I'm getting 62 degrees with all 3 boxes checked

Sounds about right. I overclocked my 1600 to 3.8GHz on the stock cooler. You'll probably need 1.30 to 1.35v depending on your motherboard. I need 1.35v and my temps reached 73c in Aida64 and above 80c in Prime95. I opted to purchase the aftermarket Noctua cooler in my signature. Much nicer temps. Costly, but worth it in my opinion.

Anything under 70°C is more than fine.

Under 80°C is fine.

 

Anything over 80°C and I start to worry.

I guess I'll leave it the now, and investigate this buzzing noise when playing games. Hope it's nothing too bad

Check the fans on your GPU or the PSU. Might be some dust or debris making contact, or a loose wire. It's been known to happen. Should be difficult to track down if you get your ear close enough.

It'll probably be around 2 weeks until I get time now to find out what this noise is, so busy with uni and stuff now

Running aida64 with stress:

-cpu

-fpu 

-cache

 

getting around 63 degrees after 4 mins

seems as tho it's still climbing
