Will a 280mm radiator fit in the top of a corsair 570x without conflicting?

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/crystal-series-570x-rgb-atx-mid-tower-case

Radiator Compatibility:

  • 360mm: Front only
  • 280mm: Front only
  • 240mm: Front or Top
  • 120mm: Front, Top, or Rear

Just checked the specs on Corsair's website.

Looks like the top doesn't even allow for a 280mm rad in the first place.

The choice is made for you. It'll be a 240mm rad up top with a 360mm rad in the front.

And maybe a 120 in the rear if you want to go ham.

For what it's worth, it does make things easier for you in terms of getting matching fans.

You'll be able to buy them in 2 or 3 packs and save a few bucks since all your rads will be using the same sized fans.

I am currently planning the parts i will buy for my custom water cooled build inside of the corsair 570x. I have picked everything out however, i don't know if i can fit a EK 280mm radiator in the top with a 360mm radiator in the front without it conflicting with the other radiator, the rear fan and/or the motherboard VRMS. Does anyone have any experience with water cooling in the 570x? If so have you managed to get this to fit? on paper it fits, but obviously that doesn't account for fans and other specifics like that. If it doesnt fit then that is no problem and i will just get the 240mm

You're very welcome.

I've been there myself. Managed to cram three radiators into an Air 540 with just barely enough space for all of them.

I had to look into this very same situation when I was considering if I could squeeze in a 280mm rad or not.

Turns out, not many ATX sized cases have that kind of spacing.

Best of luck with your build. I'm betting it's going to be glorious. B|

I have corsair 570x with MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC mobo, and the cooler is Corsair H115i but the radiator doesn't fit in the upperside of the case it hits to mobo, what should I do ?
