Corsair H50/NZXT Kraken x31 enough for an OC 8600k?

Has anyone tried smaller AIOs with the 8600k? What kind of thermals are you getting?  I'm not opposed to going for a larger AIO for it if need-be (I'm putting that chip into a Source 530 from NZXT, so there is room for a 240 rad), but I'm trying to see where I can same some money.

As far as I am concerned 120mm AiO are usually worse than similar(sometimes just a bit more costing) priced Air Coolers, really needs to be 240mm to make sense going water cooling.

If you're looking smaller than 240, you should definitely just air cool. I had a huge amount of problems with my 6700K on a 120 aio, the noise was unbelievable since the fan was ramping constantly. Now using a noctua nh-d15 (Although the d12 would probably have been fine too), since my case didn't have space for a 240mm rad. Less noise, better temps.

I wouldn't. With Black Friday here you should easily be able to fit a 240mm into your budget, or go air.
