What monitor to buy?

Exgert

so im updating my rig after a looooong time!!. the specs im upgrading to is

gtx 1070ti or 1080ti (haven not decided wether to spend the extra cash)

16gb ram

ryzen 5 1600x

im not sure where to look with monitors. they're just so many!!!!!

i was initially going to go with 2 4k monitors at 60hz

im not a competitive gamer who plays fps games hardcore. i enjoy to play games more laid back. so i feel that

the extra resolution would benefit me more than the extra fps. i rather sit and look how pretty the game.

also i do alot of 3d modelling in blender and require high resolution for photo realism

i did however have an idea to get one 4k 32 inch monitor at 60hz and one 32 inch monitor at 1440p at 144hz

i would like vesa mount support and a screen size of 27-32"

witch is the better option and what monitor do you suggest ? my price range is around 400-500euros

some of the monitors ive been looking at are

-ElectriQ 32" 4K FreeSync IPS Panel HDMI Monitor

-lg 34uc79g-b

-Acer 27" Predator XBV271HK

By the sounds of it 2 monitors might make more sense, or perhaps LGs 43" 4k monitor? That would give you the biggest area in terms of multitasking.

If you want to go with 2 4k monitors, take a gander at these: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=27772

4k, HDR, $399.

If you want to go ultrawide, consider the 38" options.

well the way my set up is going. im having two monitors side by side on a vesa stand with a tv above them.

i just taught maybe i could just use my 49" 4k tv as a 4k monitor then have two 27-28" 1080p monitors underneath?

also im in ireland. so buying things outside of Europe will result in me paying huge import tax so im pretty sure mono price is off the table.

So no more 4K monitors? That will save you a lot of money for a 1080TI.

I'd double check. A lot of electronics don't have import taxes. For example, digital cameras in Ireland. I tried looking up the HS codes for you, but your country doesn't have any kind of listing or PDF showing their duty rates. Kind of stupid. If they're duty free like they are here you'd just be paying VAT.

I dno, personally I hate mixing resolutions. I work with spreadsheets a lot though so that's probably why.

1080p  with a 1080ti is big waste of money unless they're 240hz or unless you'll solely use the tv for gaming and the monitors for anything else
