Overclock Skylake on z270

Planning on changing up my system a bit.

 

Basically can I overclock my i5 6400 on a z270 Asus z270 board?

I have a cooler already.

 

I know if I bought a z170 I would have to do a bios change, does it work the same way on z270 as well? If so where can I get these working BIOS'

It is a 6400. Intel keeps their processors locked unless you get a K-series (like a 6600K for example).

In order to overclock you'd need both the motherboard and the processor

Intel locked it up in 200 series mobo and Kaby Lake. You need a Z170 mobo with older BIOS to overclock it.

It has been done before.... I am wondering if this is possible on z270.
