What's the difference between these 2 monitors?

Photoncreator

So black friday is coming around, and I'm looking for a 144hz, 1080p 1ms monitor with a decent panel. I know most monitors at around $250~ and below have TN panels, but I found these two.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16824236722

I found the MG248QR for $200 at a microcenter near me, but I cannot for the love of god find the difference between these two monitors. Can someone help me find out what sets them apart?

I found MG248Q for $230 so I don't know what's the better buy.

I like them because they have thin bezels and plus what I want out of a monitor (other than the TN panel)

This samsung monitor: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16824022485

Uses a VA panel, better than TN, is 144hz, 1080p, and has a 1ms response time. but is more expensive and a bit out of my price range.

Dunno what to get, please assist me. Ty in advance to anyone who answers.

The QR is slightly lighter, probably a newer revision as it has the connection versions listed where the Q doesn't.

Specs wise they're the exact same.

PC - CPU Ryzen 5 1600 - GPU Power Color Radeon 5700XT- Motherboard Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming - RAM 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB - Storage 525GB Crucial MX300 SSD + 120GB Kingston SSD   PSU Corsair CX750M - Cooling Stock - Case White NZXT S340

Peripherals - Mouse Logitech G502 Wireless - Keyboard Logitech G915 TKL  Headset Razer Kraken Pro V2's - Displays 2x Acer 24" GF246(1080p, 75hz, Freesync) Steering Wheel & Pedals Logitech G29 & Shifter

What's the QR? Sorry if I'm sounding dumb.

The one with QR on the end of the product name, rather than just Q.

Gotcha. So you're saying I should get the QR version as it's cheaper and they're the same spec wise?

QR adds support for 1080p 120 Hz over HDMI, the Q is limited to 60 Hz on HDMI.

So why is the QR cheaper? Also I'm going to be using display port to achieve 144hz.

It's just a minor revision, probably replaced the Q with the same wholesale price, as for retail price it's decided by the retailer.

The QR also has ELMB (strobing) which can reduce motion blur. The Q has NVIDIA LightBoost which is the same thing but I'm not sure if ELMB is maybe a replacement for it that has more compatibility or something... I assume the LightBoost on the Q only works on NVIDIA cards but I haven't looked into it much. Strobing can't be used at the same time as FreeSync though, so if you're going to use that then it's a bit irrelevant again. But if it's cheaper there's no reason not to get it.

I currently have a GTX 1060 so I should be fine. Guess I'm getting the QR, thank you for your help!
