Need a mobile phone recommendation.

Greetings Everyone.

 

I haven't been following mobile phone releases for some time so can anyone recommend a smart phone for my parent?

The price range is below $100.

I know that is crazy low but they don't use it for anything except browsing the internet and using (android based) applications such as whatsapp, facebook, twitter, messenger etc.

I know there are some great phones by huawei, oppo and some other underrated companies out there.

 

Things that have a bit of priority are: Up to date android (7.0 is ok for them) and usable i.e no frustrating things like lag or bad quality buttons, issues with batter etc.

Also, It would be great if the phone release could be in recent years (they have been frustrated with their old phone because of no firmware updates and such).

It's hard to find a good Android phone below $100 brand-new that isn't on Amazon Prime deals or sold as a prepaid device.

A used one is alright.

Try to find a good deal at black friday or cyber monday im sure amazon will have some great deals?

I am from Asia and you can actually get better deals on physical locations and by bartering.

Amazon prices are little bit high even on deals for us.

 

That is good advice and I do plan on getting a deal on the phone. I just prefer a face to face deal because of many reasons including checking the phone at the location before you buy it.

Moto G4 perhaps? They seem to go for $120-$130. Maybe you can get an even better price or a G5 during Black Friday.
