GTX 1060 3gb or RX 570 4gb

I can t decide on a gpu, I have enough budget wise to get a GTX 1060 3gb or an RX 570 4gb, the 1060 does perform better in benchmarks I've seen how ever I am a little concerned about having so little VRAM. Also how long do you think each card would last before needing an upgrade?

1060 is way more powerful.

But

3GB of VRAM is Garbage so I would recommend saving and maybe getting an RX 580 or a 1060 6GB.

tbh idk why people let Nvidia get away with this kinda of bull. Apparently 3.5GB of VRAM WAS TOO MUCH! (gtx 970 joke)

I dunno about that part, the newest Polaris 10 silicone is likely to hit closer to 1500mhz easier now

RX 570 most likely, OC it should be alright. Especially if you end up upgrading to a free-sync display.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
