What is this worth?

Master Disaster

I'll list my specs even though they're in my profile anyway

6700K

16GB (4 x 4GB Kit) Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz CL15

MSI Z170A Gaming M7

MSI GTX 1070 Gaming 8G with EKWB block and backplate already fitted

Samsung SM951 512GB M.2 nVME

WD Black 1TB

WD Green 4TB

Pioneer BDR-208EBK BD-XL Burner

Fractal Design XL R2.0

Full Custom Loop

Acer XB280HK 4K G Sync

I am moving house and taking the machine with me is not really possible plus I am kinda done with PC gaming now anyway so I am going to sell it.

Wondering if I should list is as a whole machine or list the parts separately? Which would make the most money? How much should I try and set for it if I sell it as an entire machine? (in GBP please)

Thanks for answering.

Do not sell the part for part. if you sell the part for part there are parts you never will sell. if you the hole machine you know you won't be sitting with old computer stuff. But you can sell the screen and the computer separate.

sell it whole. people will be looking for a bargain for parts these days.

i would recommend wiping the harddrives with a few passes of 0's, so no one can retrive any of the data.

Part by part might get more, but offsetting that is it will take a load more time to manage it. As a custom loop system would be easier to shift it in one go, possibly splitting the monitor.

As rough price guidance, look at modern equivalents on offer and drop from there.

Main system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 3x 16GB 2R, RTX 3070, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, Acer Predator XB241YU 24" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync + HP LP2475w 24" 1200p 60Hz wide gamut
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible
