Someone with a AMD video card can solve this mystery? My card is too old do to that can run this new AMD utility.

It's cheaper this way and you can just add a m.2 ssd yourself.

its not the exact amount of bandwidth as even overclocked my 40 shows the same bandwidth, even on idle, its just a basic number to give you a idea of how much there is, 12 is probably the bandwidth of a single ddr4 dim

Isn't 12 GB/s bad even for single channel operation? Or are we to expect 25 GB/s for dual channel which is still a huge bottleneck?

Pfft, you and your puny 12GB/s.  384GB/s is where it's really at. ;)

*Yes, I know that's my video card memory, not system RAM.

well this is an R9 fury , not vega , but the 12GByte/s is most likely due to it using the DDR4 as video memory

Graphics benchmarks too are looking very good.

Basically unbeatable as far as onboard graphics go, and unbeatable at this TDP; since Intel does not have anything as advanced as Vega.

Will be interesting to see how much better the Ryzen 7 2700U does...

Just went to Best Buy with a friend to pick this up for him.  So far so good, but HP loaded it up with a bunch of bloat and it had the crappy Synaptics touch pad driver rather than the MS Precision Touch driver.  He also bought the Windows Ink digitizer pen to go with it.  Seems solid so far, our only gripe so far is the hinge leaves the screen wobbly.

Synaptics is usually one of the better scenarios. It could be much worse. It could be an Elan solution.
