How to Link Discord to Your Forum Account

Hey guys, here's how you can link your Discord account to your forum one. This allows you to auto-verify, and syncs any applicable roles. (NOTE: If you signed up or in to the forum with Discord, your account is already linked.)

 

Join our Official Discord!

 

Step 1: In the top right of the forum page, click your username, and then click "Account Settings"

Step 2: Click on the Discord tab

Step 3: Click on the "Sign in with Discord" button

Step 4: Login to Discord (note: if you're already logged in, this step is skipped)

Troubleshooting

 

Problem 1: "Your discord email address is not verified!"

Solution 1:

Verify your discord email.

 

Solution 2:

If your email is verified and it still doesn't work, change your Discord email to something else, change it back, and then verify.

Problem 2: "My rank didn't sync! JAKE HELPPP!"

Disassociate and re associate your account.

I got it working now .I have no bloody clue what was wrong the first time but it works.

Still didn't work. There was no option to resend a verification email.

 

EDIT: It appears verifying my phone number solved the problem. May want to add it to troubleshooting.

And i know it is, can't connect my ltt account to discord, (tried it lastnight, now again) and still wont work.

Also been 24 hours for me and i still have no permissions on the discord server :/

No dice. First, I wasn't seeing a "sync now" option, so i closed and reopened the window. The "sync now" button appeared, but it still will not let me chat. Also, I could not find anywhere in discord to enter a phone number. I'm sure at least some of this is user error, but I really would like to get this done.

 

Edit: I also tired disassociating from discord and re-associating, and it did not work.

I cant even find on the discord server where it says to do the first....Anyone he;p, also when i try claiming my account it says account already taken step, like i cannot find where you would click to get to that step......

yes, though if you go to account settings and link discord it will be 1 account
