144hz is much more worth.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

I'd go with the Freesync monitor since it's highly unlikely your card will get anywhere near 144hz anyway.

And, as @Majestic said, it's kind of pointless without knowing what two monitors you're comparing.

Either one could be terribly shitty.

I don't think you'll ever notice any difference playing over 75fps on LoL or other Moba honestly, I'll take the cheaper 75hz one in this case.

you could consider an IPS model since you don't need the faster refresh rate useful in FPS games, and you can enjoy the vibrant colors of the maps more idk

2020 AMD Build:

Ryzen 3800x - Asus TUF x570 - Crucial Ballistix 16GB 3600cl16 - ROG Strix GTX1070 OC 8G - EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W - Sabrent Rocket 1TB

2012 Intel Build:

Intel i5-3570k @4.0Ghz - Asus Maximus V Formula - Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866 - XFX HD7970 GHz - Enermax Revolution87+ 650w - Crucial MX500 500GB

I hate this notion that only FPSs need high refresh rate displays.

Higher refresh rate means less input lag, that's beneficial to every game, not just FPSs.

And that's exactly why it's important to have an informative post.
