look at the scale, if you bring to the scale to 30-95db, they're not flat at all. that graph is dumb.

scale is everything

for example heres my HD 800's measured with different scales.

heres the similar to the scale in that measurement

I know I said price wasn't that big of an issue I changed my mind :P I won't go above £150 as I definitely wouldn't feel right about spending that much money seem like a nice pair of headphones though.

AKG K612 gets my recommendation, treble gets a bit tizzy at times, but the detail retrieval for 150 bux is unbeatable.

As for SHP9500, 5k region is problematic for some genres.

but for $50 they are good.

- Sony MDR 7506

- AKG K612 Pro

- Audio Technica M40X (not the M50X)

The thing is, most headphones have boosted treble and bass. It's just the norm it seems. There are a lot of warm sounding headphones out there as well, like the Sennheiser 558.

Thanks I'll add them to the list for consideration.

Just though I'd update you guys, going for the m50x's going to wait to see how much they are in the Christmas sales. Thanks again for all the advice.
